its a linux firewall that is on a floppy and turns an old PC into a H/W firewall

ipcop and smothwall would probably be better suited and more configurable :)
still micro distros like this are great for keeping old hardware useful.
See... everything is possible with *nix. :P

Thanks Obi kind of looking around on this forum perfect for me fits on a floppy? Got to love it who said floppy drives were dead ;)
Here's an idea. Take a small firewall that fits on a floppy like the one ObiWan posted and run it in vmware or virtual pc and give it like 32 megs of ram or 16 :lol: . Think it would be the same as running a software based firewall like ummm sygate or whatver software firewalls people use now days?
Once you get your iptables down pack I bet it would work just fine. It would be just like a minature pc on your network and serve only as a firewall or to share a connection. Probably not something i would try.................Im in love with my router, but I bet it would work.
Btw, no gui. All text based is all you would need for that purpose. :lol:
