Question About Rainbow Six Raven Shield

I got this game with my Soundcard, and i was wondering why it never asks for the cd key when i install it!? Does anyone here have the same thing? And does it even matter. Just seems wierd to me. :)

the CD key is for multiplayer only :)

I just started playing black thorn ,it dosnt ask for a key either ,it requires the disc thou. :(
