Never had a problem with Xvid until just recently. Two movies I've traded both 'jitter' during playback. I dl'd these movies from different ppl and both say they run fine in their players. Neither movie is a recent rip.

Gone through a bunch of things on my own but can't seem to find the reason. Anyone else have ideas?

Thanx.

Thanks. That's the general line I had been working — had already tried quite a few. I guess I was just taking a shot in the dark that someone else had run into a similar prob when I posted. :(

like you said mate its only them two movies and they're oldies too.You could try changing the codec for them two with the changer in the xvid folder :)

I had this with Kill Bill and in a readme it told me to get Gordian Knot Codec Pack 1.6 to cure it,I only loaded the XviD and everything is fine now.
