File Types And Burning

downloaded 50 cents album off of suprnova and its all the tracks but they in .ogg format and one file in .M3U format if i click the .M3U it plays the forst songf but when media play bombs out :blink:

but that dont matter all i wanna know is how do i burn these files onto a cd using Nero 6 so it will play in a CD/DVD player.

also is WinAmp any gd. im getting pissed off with WMP bombing and everyone seems to cream there pants when i say it so....?

.ogg is teh ogg vorbis format
dont know if nero supports it
you may have to convert it
google for dbpoweramp, and get the .ogg codec while yur at it

Yeah, the standard nero doesn't support .ogg. You need a plug-in, but it's not that hard to find. You can convert them with dbpoweramp like FUKDUP74 said, but if you do I suggest converting them straight from .ogg to .wav. Your chances of getting errors or reducing quality will only go up it you convert them to .mp3 or something and then use another program to convert and burn them to disc. Yes, winamp is good, although I haven't been extremely impressed with their new version 5. Still far superior to WMP though.

I put the og in ogg
just to add my .02 I think its the best format well a tie with flac but you hardly see any but you can play them in winamp :)

nah my pc got fucked and has been repaired for about 1 week and i had a sig and its gone now :blink: not breaking the rules just my shitty spec :P

so how do i convert from .ogg str8 to .wav?

does that dbpoweramp do that? is it easy to use?

and db is way f00kin easy to use

but if i remeber right, ogg is lossless
so you MIGHT get away with going to .wav and then to mp3
not sure..........
