This is what I do:

There usually is a CD-R sale in which you buy the pack and send the rebate in for THE SAME PRICE that you paid.

Unload and buy about 200-300 discs
Send your rebate as soon as you get home (so you don't forget)

Watch out for brands with no branding on the top (they are clear)

THEY FUCKING FRAY AND SHRED AT THE EDGES!!!!

Ah, you know, here in Mexico, i am really happy. :D

I buy my cd's in a place called plaza of computer n electronics. There are like 100's of stands where you can buy cds, and dvd's in all sorts of formats, for a very very cheap price and they are many designs to pick from. You can buy from one to the whole 500 cd tower.

the price is around 3.5MXP for one cd by itself. The price can go up if the cd looks fancier. This cd is a melody cdr white w/orange 40x. Its a nice brand and they work nicely. There are some really fancy designs that can make their price go up. That would be like around a quarter for a cd. Thats nice if you dont want to buy 50 cd's... or one with a box and a fancy brand name :D

Rip-Off Britain

Check this out...

On-line music retailer, CD-WOW have settled out of court with the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) in a long-running battle focussing on the companies practice of importing titles for sale within the UK at knock-down prices.

The agreement that both parties have arrived at will see CD-WOW adding a £2 premium on most titles in their catalogue. Pre-release are already affected with most now at a £9.99 price point. However, whether or not the other CD-WOW sites (in particular CD-WOW.com.hk) will also see a price increase is unclear - certainly, at the moment it seems that their prices are unaffected with most titles coming in at around HK$106 (less than £7.50).

If you ever purchased a CD from this retailer, you'll know they're really good and the prices are magnificent.

The music industry can't argue that services such as Kazaa, eMule or BT steal revenue from the music industry in lost royalties and then block legitimate online retailers who provide the royalties they demand. They're pissed because an online store is buying in stock in bulk at lower Asian prices and passing this on to Internet-wise customers.

I sometimes hate this country

 Hey guys let me ask you something.

Them CDRs say "up to 32x" compatible on the side of them. You can not see it from that Picture. So here (http://images.crossmediaservices.com/smartcircular/listingimageslarge/Retailers/Staples/483026.jpg) is a better shot.

What I am wanting to know is.Can I still Burn them at 52x(I know it is a NOOB Question)? The ones I have been useing the past 6 Months have been "up to 48x compatiable".Have never seen none faster by TDK.And my Burner does fine Burning DATA at 52x with them.Have never had a Problem.

A truck is suppose to be coming in today with some as they are out of them right now.And am not going to go up there if they are no good.

:P I know I know."Get a DVD Burner FC!".Will probably be the last one on this Forum to ever get one.Sorry but I am slow at getting all the new Toys and I am a cheap B*****d.Plus storing 35GB for $2 is not bad. :P

;) Ok I guess just going to go up there and Buy one Pack.Even if they only can BURN at 32x still not bad for $2 I guess.God 32x is going to be slow compared to 52x. :(

32x compatible mate means they've been tested and work properly to burn up to 32 speed and no more,If they do or dont more than that they dont guarantee it.So the only real way to know is to try.The ones i buy bulkbaq only burn 8 or 16x even though thy're rate 48,and i've been using them for a couple of yrs and not had a single one burn or 16x. :)

:P Screw it anyways.They were 32x.I will pay $5 for 48x Media.Only $3 more. :P
