My cable modem is being slow on downloading speeds could it be because i have a router connected to the ps2? or could it be because i overclocked? how can i get high speeds when downloading please?

Is it like that all the time? Maybe just a peak traffic time.

you need to start testing and see if it happens at the same time all the time. If it is at about the same time then it is peak time for your internet provider. Also make sure you do not have spy ware on your computer, this tends to slow stuff down. Download and run adaware to see if you do.

Yeah, I recommend you run Ad-aware as well. Also, try to free up some memory goto this website for details. http://www.blackviper.com it's an awesome way to disable some programs that run in the background that aren't really necessary for the average Windows user. Well, that's about all I think you can do. So who's your service provider and what kind of Cable modem do you have? I can help you better if you give me those to answers.

somewhere on this website (http://www.dslreports.com) there is a internet speed test, i get around 132kb but my providor is only giving me 128kb, arent i lucky <_<
