What Are Sites, Where Hosts Check To See If They

Like you submit your site there and hosts go and check out sites there and then if they like it, they'll host you. I saw one of these sites a year ago. Any one know of any of these?

You probably would have to generate substantial traffic for something like that. :)

:lol: I was not implicating it wouldnt work. Im sure there are some out there. The smaller the hosting company the more willing they will be to host your site so that they may advertise on it.

What kind of site do you have?

umm lolz personal... my host is down so im lookin for a new one :P... if he gets his server working again then it'll be fine :P...

There are quite a few around. They generally offer better packages than the free hosts (like lycos or geocities) - often offer space with no ads. For most you will need a solid site to demonstrate to them. Try google or a free host directory for more info and urls to sites.

There is an abundance of free web hosts out there.

Google should do the trick ;)
