only if the printer supports a usb port, if not you would have to get some kind of jetdirect card for it.

Belkin makes a parallel to USB cable, for just that problem.
Rather expensive though, usually like 30 + dollars (U.S.D.)

prob nto worth it, the printer is an apollo p1200, prob cheaper buying a cheapo usb printer, as it would be better than the current one,

would This (http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=49378) worj properly over a network using this (http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=52897)

i know the printer should work, but would the scanner work over the network aswell???

i dont think think the scanner part of it would work, i have a parallel port scanner and i tried hooking it up to my router;s print server but the software couldnt pick it up. btw, it was a scanjet 3200c.

That printer isn't worth getting an adaptor.

Just one little thing... Why didn't you post a picture or a link to show us the printer? It just makes it harder to help. (sorry but sometimes it gets frustrating)... Taking a break now. :(
