This same guy keeps attempting to hacking into my computer, luckily Norton Internet Security is keeping him out. I know that he/she is from Germany and I know their I.P address. My question is what should I do with this information?

I hope that this is in the right section, I wasn't sure where it would belong.

I garuntee you if they're somewhat not an idiot, they will be using a proxy.

posting an ip won't be much help, but do it anyways, its fun to pretend you can do something with it ;)

FFS - I just posted a similar thread called 'Hackers...'

I think we should make a thread of IP Addresses used by spotty faced tards who think they're smart. I'd love to meet these freaks and cut out their eyeballs out with a fu**ing table knife.

whats a good honeypot program that runs in the back ground and gathers info on all port hits/pings etc

It's a common attack, doesn't look like anything to worry about, they just ping around for unsuspecting computers.

if possible, just block anything with ending: dip.t-dialin.net

or block

212.185.44.0 - 212.185.47.255
217.224.0.0 - 217.237.161.47
or basically:
217.0.0.0 - 217.255.255.255
