I though all the 9xxx series were DX9 compliant, or at least most of DX9.

9200 and below only support 8.1 , thats why they came up w/ the 9600 line up, to compete w/ nvidia fx series

9200 is AGPx8

I have owned both these cards and my personal opinion is the 8500 looked slightly better but is now old tech.

Now have 9700 pro installed which is also old tech but still good stuff

i had a 9700 pro also, but i sold it to get a 9800 pro. my 9800 pro burnt up and now i'm stuck with a 9200 for the time being. i just go to [H]ard|Forum (http://www.hardforum.com/) all the time and they never say anything about 9200. it's all about the 8500. oh, and btw, my 9200 is dx9 campatible with agp 8x.

Your 9200 must be one of a kind.Hmmm . According to ATI's website all the 9200's are Dx8.1, even the pro model.
