i was wondering if you luvly people could help me find out about low bp.

i would be grateful if someone could give me information about what this means and how it affects someone

websites that answer this would also be nice :)

Seriously, why do you ask ? It is a very important issue, you should not be dealing with a real life situation based on internet information. You may either get overly worried, or assume that things are not that bad, when they may be.

Low blood pressure is an abnormal condition where a person's blood pressure (the pressure of the blood against the walls of the blood vessels during and after each beat of the heart) is much lower than usual, which can cause symptoms such as dizziness or lightheadedness.


Low blood pressure is commonly caused by drugs such as the following

Medications used for surgery
Anti-anxiety agents
Treatment for high blood pressure
Diuretics
Heart medicines
Some antidepressants
Narcotic analgesics
Alcohol


Home Care
Follow prescribed therapy. Bed rest and assistance with daily activities as needed until the condition improves.

Call your health care provider if there is any sudden drop in blood pressure that causes dizziness or fainting spells. Call an ambulance and begin CPR if someone is unconscious.
You notice black or maroon stools
You experience any of the following:
Chest pain
Shortness of breath
Irregular heartbeat

Headache
Stiff neck
Severe upper back pain
Cough with phlegm
Prolonged diarrhea or vomiting
Inability to eat or drink
Burning with urination
Foul-smelling urine
Your low blood pressure or dizziness/fainting spells started one or two days after you began taking a new drug.

oh mine has been a bit low recently , but they sed that it wasn't a problem but i will get dizzy occasionly like in the morning when i get up. anyway i have an appointment at doctors on monday i think, so i will ask more than .

i'm only really asking because i wanted to know more about the symptoms rather than anything else :P thanks for asking though :)

If you are less cheerful Gemby it is probably because you are worrying unecessary about this. At your age you have absolutely nothing to worry about. Your body is just changing. Now cheer up. :)

but i have tried and i just end up moody - more moody than usual !
