Aston shell is a lot better than style xp.

Btw the theme is really nice.

if you don't like it just uninstall it but run great on a 500mz laptop running 2kpro wth no slowdown's or anything :)

How much mem does it take up? Does cpu usage shoot up as soon as you open something?

I love the look but i need my PC to be at peak performance, I know you said no slowdowns but I just need to know that it wont hog resources away from games etc.

I've used aston shell before. I liked it. It has some really great themes.
If I were better at making graphics I would make a really great theme and see if I could win a free key instead of having to use a crack.

You could use Aston and StyleXP at the same time, u'll notice the windows titlebar stay the same with the astonshell so u could use stylexp to change the windows titlebar and aston would replace start menu background ect (basically the explorer shell). but i wouldnt recommend using them both at the same time.

right
download ashton shell
run it

then it will ask if you want to run ashton shell or windows, choosw ashton
download whatever theme you want from that site
it's zipped, open the zipped theme and extract it to c:/ashton/themes
then click theme wizard and choose our theme

Go right ahead. It actually adds a better appearance anyway since aston does not fully theme your entire destop as SP1 already said. And style xp does not use many resources so using both programs wont cause any complications at all.
