Hi all I was just wondering if ne1 here had used this before. It's a prog that rips streaming media but It wants to record everytime I click on a link. For obvious reasons I don't want it to do this. Can ne1 help w/ this :frusty:

No have not used it :

But if it does not work like you want it to then you can give this a try StreamBox (http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_capture_tools/streambox_vcr_suite.cfm)

About Streambox - since the download page says it's discontinued , can you use it freely (as in , "not bother with a crack" ) ?

EDIT - nevermind , problem solved itself.

net transport is similar to flash get and flashget is riddled with spyware

if ure lookin for an alternate to flashget try Internet Download Accelerator (http://www.westbyte.com/ida/index.phtml?page=screenshots&lng=English) has sme great features like being able to view inside archives before downloading and being able to choose what files to download within the acrhive without downloading the whole thing, probs my fav feature. it is shareware, but hardly a problem for some ;)
