Converting Avi To Mpeg/vcd With Subs

G'day everyone!

All i need to know is where to get a program which converts a avi file into the format of mpeg/vcd and also adds the subtitle to the movie so that I can later watch it on a dvd player with subtitles!

if anyone can help I'd be very grateful!!

im not sure on subtitles...sorry mate :(

It would also help to know if there is even a porgram which can combind subtitles to a movie generally!

VirtualDub will do it go here and have a read :-

Then you need tmpgenc to go to an mpeg file.
