Audio Enhancement For All Media & Applications

This question is for the pros. Here it is.

Is there a sound enhancement program that will enhance audios from any application before it is played over the speaker in Windows XP?

I think this application would be a DirectX plugin audio enhancement.

It would be awesome to have sound enhancement while playing games, listening to music, watching movies, or using any application.

DFX is good but is limited to WMP9 and other audio players.

What is the best one out there?

that enhancer is for winamp 2.x. Version 5 is already out for winamp. 2 is outdated. Winamp is for music only, I want something for all applications, movies, games, music, etc. Thanks though.

your only likely possibility mate for everything and all apps is from your sound card software. :)

I use it with winamp 5 and it also plays movies

I am glad that it works on Winamp 5. So WinAmp is another option. I hope WinAmp is better than WMP9 though because WMP9 can't display certain codec's dimensions properly. I will give it a try myself, thanks.
