Blocking Internet Monitoring Programs

Could you suggest any/all the programs ya know to block programs such as cyber-sitter, and other programs that monitor your internet actions/conversations, etc?

Peacefire is a site dedicated to freedom of speech and anti-censorship. There's no blockers per se, but it teaches you how to disable most monitoring software. :)
