does anybody know why I can't update Generals from 1.0 to 1.2?

If you have a ripped version then I don't think u can update but Im not sure

Ran into that as well so I uninstalled the game. Then reinstalled, ran the update, replaced the generals.exe file with the one provided in crack folder, ran the game, which it updated automatically. The game.dat file I replaced after the update.

Actually shouldn't it be ver 1.3 after update, at least thats what the new notes indicate when I read through it?


This was with the 2 cd iso version of the game. Not sure about the riped one either :unsure:

The updates mostly fix lag issues, you dont need them if you dont play online.
I bought this game it owns all the way :D :D

not really.. its mostly to fix bugs , glitches, cheats IN the game..

I only needed to update it to 1.2 because i've got a trainer
