You'll need a p2p client that handles ed2k links.

Most popular clients are:

eMule Plus (http://www.emuleplus.tk/)
eDonkey (http://www.edonkey2000.com/)
OverNet (http://www.overnet.com/)

Normally, you would be able to click on these ed2k links I've posted and they'll automatically place themselves in your transfer window.

You can always cut and paste the sd2k links into your address bar on your browser, and it'll do the same thing.

Hope this helps

Most Welcome.

I'd bookmark ShareReactor (http://www.sharereactor.com/) if you get a chance. It has a huge database full of software, films, games and all sorts.

I'm sure there's more out there but I haven't really needed to go much further than ShareReactor.

Good huntin'

I've encounter one last problem. The speed of the downloads are at a crawl (0.1kps-3kps). E-Donkey says I am "firewalled". I have Rogers Cable Internet and it is on a router. My friend told me something about opening a port but I'm not sure how. Can anyone help me?

Well we'll need to know what route you are using...

Make:
Model:

Also what ports eDonkey is set to, i.e. TCP and UDP. You may have to leave the client running for an hour or so to get the speeds you want.

I'm using a D-Link DI-704P router. My eDonkey TCP port is now 80 and I forgot what the default value was (I changed it while reading a help guide). Also my UDP port is 7470.

There are Multiple Revisions of the DI-704P.
Each revision has version specific drivers, installation guides and firmware.

I'll need to know what revision your model is...

DI-704P Revision AThe DI-704P Rev. A has a brown case.

DI-704P Revision BThe DI-704P Rev. B has our newer titanium or silver case.

The DI-704P Rev. C has the same case as Rev. B but has a newer, faster CPU

Ok, I've attatched the manual for your specific router. You can open it by clicking on the link, or save it by right clicking the link and 'Save Target As'. It includes information on configuring your ports on your router.

Hope this helps...
