So you would consider a pop record released yesterday to be old.

JimF has posted a lot of great music. Be warned however that some of it is pre 1995. Just poke around Musicworld and try out some stuff you have never heard of. You never know what you might come across.

Crash, Bang & Wallop, it's all shite. It all sounds the same, like every modern group has the same bass drum & beat. I hate modern music. Open your ears to some reel old music. B)

If your "such as...?" is meant for me then here goes.

Ride A White Swan - Marc Bolan (not Jamie West)
Daydream Believer - The Monkees (not Atomic Kitten)
One Fine Day - Chiffons (not S Club Juniors)

I think you should get my meaning, anything pre 80's back to the middle ages (anyone like gregorian chant?)

Some people just like to state the obvious.

I'm still not entirely clear about this string. It seems to be a request for old music made recently.

If you have bands you like why not try running a search. You may find something to your taste. Look through the threads you come up with. There will probably be some similar music in them

I guess when I'm all old and mankey (not saying you are) I'll be saying the same with the music then. I reckon it's all about what you listened to when you was younger.
