Automatically finds the max settings for your card......

I will have to try it when I get my main rig back up and running, but for some reason the automativeness of the whole program just seems to take away from some of the fun of the tweaking that goes into computer products.

just tested it out

so far so good...the max settings it found gave no sparklies or tearing in 3dmark03

ive not messed about with the settings on this card yet so im not sure what the max settings i can get it too by tweaking it my self so until ive done this i cant say if it has found the max or not

it looks like its found the maximum clock for my memory pretty accurately (9600pro BTW), but for the core it looks like its incorrectly detecting artifacts - i can't see any myself but the clock speed keeps dropping

if its just a bug and it gets fixed sometime, then this ickle program has good potential - although i kinda agree with the Beatle, it takes away some of the fun of overlocking, but i'm lazy so i like it :D

also, for some reason i don't like the way you set the clocks in ATITool, i still find Rivatuner simpler

Well I tested it out for 20 mins and my core speed went from 324.0 to 445 before levelling off. Haven't tried my memory yet, and the first test was done with eMule running, Winamp, AV etc... so I'll do it when I'm not using any in case that would affect the results.

Looks promising, although I've checked the forum and one guy seems to of fried his ATI 9800 Pro! Well, I also have the same card and don't wish to do the same, so I'm in two minds about this one.

If anyone's successfully clocked their ATI card with this and used it successfully, I'd love to hear from you.

It might help if you posted what your clock speeds were before (default settings)?

ive been using this program since i got my card, from default of 324/405 up to 420/480 very nice and not a single artifact. after i get my iceberg 4 pro and 8 ram sinks and my new case fans im gonna be running this program again. very nice program, yeah takes the fun out of overclocking, but i tend to push my stuff to far when i do it by myself so i like this program. now if only i could find one for my process/memory...

Just in case you didn't know already, I just got an Iceberq Pro 4 and it only comes with 4 ram sinks. Pretty stupid seeing as pretty much every card that it fits would need 8.

i know, im gonna buy seperate ram sinks, the ones that come with the iceberg pro are gunk anyway (well they look it...). im gonna get some from i think thermaltake (or maybe coolermaster). whatever i can find thats best.
