Are there any software that converts written words to spoken words i.e. text to speech.

there are disabled people who use them to communicate, one of the most famous being stephen hawkings (uk scientist).

I need it to translate documents for my tutorials, so the speech quality must be better.

EDIT: I've found a few through google, but i want something of good quality and that i can download from p2p networks.

Aldo's Text-to-wave (http://aldostools.mysite4now.com/text-wav.html)

When looking for a patch you should try looking on the net as well instead of just p2p networks. ;)

Thanks, but its not of very good quality (the voice i mean). I've found one that uses AT&T Natural Voice technology. It's on two disks (600 + megs each), but can mimic human voice also exactly.

have a look at this link if your interested. http://www.nextup.com/

For info on AT&T natural voice technology http://www.naturalvoices.att.com/

The iso images are on edonkey/emule/overnet network.
