I just recently had a GeForce 440 MX. I purchased Xfx GeForce 128MB 5600.
It was running fine, but now when I try to start up my computer most of them time, my computer makes some sort of noise. I think its the Video Card but Im not sure. ANy Ideas on what I can do?

What exactly is this noise?
A beep? Chainsaw type sounds?

Probably a fan. Open up your PC and make sure there is nothing like a wire getting stuck in the fan, or near enough to get stuck in the fan.

is it only right when you start the computer or does it do it sometimes while the computer is running? also does it do if you shutdown the computer just for second then turn it right back on or only if its been off for a while? im asking this because my harddrive has some dried up bearing, or somehting liek that, so when its been off for a while i turn it on it makes a slight grinding noise for a few minutes but gets normal after a few minutes, the new graphics card fan could have bad bearings or something so check it out when you start up...or it could just be a wire stuck in it like mad cat said.
