my friend has a original HALF LIFE cd that he has never played online.

could i install his then download CS 1.6??? or do i need to buy CS then upgrade to

1.6

basicly what are my options here

just download 1.6
if he's already activated his key, then you will just need to log onto his account, if he hasn't just activate it :P
No need to buy anything, if he/she has a key for you!
