um, explain a little more plz but here goes

ok when you encode to mpeg from avi its gunna make a bigger file

lets say a 700meg avi will convert to a 1 gig mpeg file (VCD)
(Svcd = 1.4gig) (DVD = 4gig)( this is aprox )

ok now are you asking how to fit it on a cd, the answer is you cant you need to split it in to 2 cds, use something like easy video splitter to split the file in 2

if you are ncoding for dvd the file will blow out to like 4 gig ( this is all to do with the bitrate and size you use )

doom9 has some great tutorials for encoding go read a bit, its not all one click wonder when it comes to encoding

here is the doom9 site for you

ohh yeah im trying to put it on dvd but it says im over it, like its 139% and no matter how i adjust the bitrate and size, it onlygoes to a certain size and then stops and still to big
