ive taken my mates memory out of his computer (which is exactly the same as mine) so i can do some tests....

but my computer isnt picking them up...

ive installed them, reshuffled them, put them in different orders etc. but nothings working.... when i right click 'my computer' it tells me my comp has 512 mb ram...

Your mobo supports up to 3gb so make sure you have them seated properly might be the trouble?

If you didn't want to start a new thread then why did you?

If you would post at the end of another thread of yours it would just bring it to the top.

As soon as you reply I will merge this to another topic so you will be able to find it again.

Since you already have a dicussion going on in the other thread about this, i'm going to close this one.

In the future try to keep it to one thread. Thanks.

It's not like we won't notice the one thread.
