when i try to log onto my ftp using and no-ip.com address i get some stupid error about a proxy setting. I am a student there so i wont have much access to stuff. Is their anyway to bypass that? Thanks :)
Are you using Explorer as your FTP client?

there are two possibilities:
1. go and ask the IT service and see - they may use a reverse DNS lookup or stg, in which case your no-ip may not work.
2. try to do it the other way - most places will allow you to ftp into them

No it's not. Install LeechFTP, which is cool because it's a one-file program (executable only). Replace some crap program like MS Calculator with it.
You are suggesting him to delete something from a school's computer http://members.shaw.ca/wenpigsfly/smileys/chair.gif :D
No... just rename the old file and replace it when he's done. :P
