Wap Need Help With....

Hi all,

Am doin an essay on WAP and i have found sites telling me what it is and what it uses but am not to clued up on it and was wondering if anyone could mayb explain it better....

What it is?
How it works?
etc...

Also do you think its a diying technology?

wireless application protocol ( ;) ) is huge and still growing. Openwave might be the best source of information for you.

A couple of sites to check out are:

wapsilon.com
mopilot.com

These are the leaders in wap implementation technologies.

O2, formerly Genie.co.uk, is huge as well.

I need to set up my free wap site with them but I never have time so I just get ringtones and pics from there. :)
