View Full Version : Any Body Know How To Get A Port Number

Hello i set up a wireless network, and then my computer doesnt allow me to use my mic in windows messenger (msn) it says "Your computer, Internet provider, or network may not support audio conversations or video conferences" EVEN THOUGH BEFORE I HAD MY WIRELLESS network it did, can any 1 help me fix this (my mic is built into a compaqy computer) it works fine wit recording software but not msn! HELP thank you

try running the wizard again and if it doesnt work then im not sure, maybe try teh latest version of msn if u dont already have it or use windows messenger for audio conversations.

I have MSN 6.1, and the mic it self works it just in the conversations it says all that junk, is tehre maybe like a firewall my network is making or somting like that plz help

Hi, i need a Trigir Port# and Public Port# for a microphone, so doesnt any 1 now how to get those, thank you (my mic is built into my compaq monitor)

ok after searching on google for yah (arent i nice :) ) i found that for msn messenegr you have to open port 6901 as weel as all ports from 6891 to 6900 (6891, 6892, 6893, etc...)

if you still have not figured out how to open ports on your router i think you should either call tech. support, email them, or go to the manufacturer website and download the manual in pdf format if it is available.
