So would I be correct in saying that the only managers to have won the English Premiership would be 2 Scotsmen and a Frenchman ?

So why can't we get a decent Scottish Manager for the national team ? Is it just because we are that shite that they would rather do anything else instead ?

Do you think Celtic and Rangers spending less on foreign players and bringing through Scottish youngsters will help this in the medium term ? I am thinking of lads like Maloney, Pearson, Ross, Kennedy and several others. There must be the makings of a decent core of a team there. So in 3 or 4 years time with a few like that and a Manager like Moyes for example, we may actually have a team again. Maybe not great, but able to get into tournaments.

Yes, Rangers are doing very well with that excellent Youth Academy. As an old mate once remarked to me, they have brought through lots of good youngs Scots like Ross, Burke, and... erm.... yes.
