If your house caught fire what would be the most important thing that you would want to save...I would like to leave out pets and relatives and money from this...other then these what would u want to definately get out of there?

My insurance policy
now that's a clever answer

we have a fireproof safe where we keep things that although don't have any significant monetary value are priceless to us and cannot be replaced such as photos and documents, so for me i have to look around the house and think is there anything that i couldn't do without untill the insurance payed up.....i would have to say the portable air conditioning unit. We have central air conditioning but not all my family likes the house as cool as i do so we bought one just for our room as it's cheaper than running the big unit (also humidifies). Who knows if the temporary accomodation will have airconditioning while we wait the repairs :(

I would defiantly take my brand new PC that I just got in this week, and my autographed football helmet signed by Walter Payton to me. I know that it would be impossible but I would also like to bring my aquarium which I love and have spent a ton of money on.

My Pew, a couple of pieces of art my friends did, A few of the kids early pictures, Photos, All legal Documents, and my grandma's piano.

Everything else is replaceable.

Photos

Everything else that I want to keep is in a fireproof safe.
Insurance papers are in there.

My photos that haven't been copied to disc and either uploaded to my web storage or stashed at mt post office box are what I would worry about.

My comics have a monetary value and can be replaced; even the old ones.

I'd just let the whole lot burn. :flame:

What's the point of paying all that money for insurance if you're not going to use it?
I'd get a great new PC, TV, stereo, furniture and probably a nicer house too.

As long as my g/f and our pets get out, then it's all good. :D

I couldn't let my dog die. :'( My sisters hamster isn't important though...

Othr than that...

My GameCube and PlayStation 2 plus all the games(and all my DVD's)... I'd just open my window and put them out side real quick and I'd jump out after, I'd probably have some time because there's no way the fire would be in my room... Unless my computer got too hot and set on fire... If that's even possible...

My computer, gotta save my music. I've tried re-recording songs that I lost, they never turn out as good as the original.

My 3 guitars (2 electrics one classical-acoustic), PC, two cuddly toys given to me by my parents when I was little....my genuine 1970's levi jacket given to me by my Dad (I wear it everyday so it'd probably be close by).....and my Marshall amp

I assume I have about 10 mins to get all the stuff out? :P

I've seen a houseboat burn...

along with most of the marina...

anyway...i dont have insurance...and it wuldnt replace my letters from my girlfriend that i have in my closet..nor my poems...and i have three vintage 8mm porn films that i know cant be replaced..one is supposedly barbara streisand(sp)...

not really trying to give a time limit just trying to make myself evaluate certain things....
