I was reading an interesting post by Brainiac in World News and it tipped me over the edge, what do forum members do outside this forum.

I am going to list several people and you guys comment on what you think they do.

For each person, I do not know and I do not request an answer unless they care to.

I will exclude alot of people here because I know they are students from prior posts.

There are some that are "out" already and they will not be discussed:

Jonno-builder
Clocker- custom clock creator
Jpaul- barsteward
Lilmiss- school bus driver

So here are some members, feel free to add your own unknowns and if you know but are not supposed to tell, then don't. If my comments are ridiculous, it means I don't know.

J2k4- something to do with "writing", not novels, but maybe plays
Jpol- something related to law or law enforcement. A detective would be perfect.
Rat Faced- law
Brainiac- college professor
Busyman- corporate suit with attitude
Wizardmon- owns health food store
FunkyCapricorn- adult movie and bookstore owner
SummerLinda- Pet store owner
MagicNakor- makes snow, uses elves as slave labor
Biggles- college professor, English department
BigBoab- retired college professor- English department
Yogi- chef
NikkiD- teacher
Baz- stripper
Lamsey- student but strips for cash, just like Noob.
Billy Dean- hasn't worked since '78
Lefty- wine taster
Samsamsamsam- computer science teacher and gondola driver
UKMan- retired musician
junkyarddog- well, what's in a name?
Zedaxax- pron
Hobbes- self proclaimed authority on everything, probably has inherited all his money and spends a lot on "ladies of the night".

Feel free to add to the list.

Names were selected from who was active tonight- I'm sure I have left out many interesting folks.

I hope you enjoy your journey through the profession JB. :) One to one is great, but a class is better for the interaction. My motto was 'The student is the main person in the classroom'. Nothing gave me greater pleasure than a student leaving at the end of a course, knowing as much, if not more about a subject than I did.
I was sorry when I had to retire from it. Greatest job ever I did. Good luck. :)

i am very sexually active with myself. although people don't traditionally consider this a working goal or persuit, i ask their interpretation of work. we work why? because we are rewarded. many consider sexual energy a condition of a bored brain but i find the gratification justifies the means. the repoductive system produces new life which is cause for celebration and worship.

it's a classic diachtomy, like driving in your car so many raindrops wash away on your windscreen and you have a fresh start, you don't bother stopping this asphalt world is so fucking empty. nothing to see here just drive on until you find something to take your time. killing you one minute at a time, that's time you never get back from them. it's is all extragavance, no real use just a new occupation until we die.

I did consider teaching as a career choice a long time ago (history) but the thought of facing a bunch adolescent hooligans every day was less than enchanting.

Quite how I washed up as an accountant in the Civil Service is beyond me. However, they are nice to me and seem to value my eccentricities (mostly), so I am inclined to stay.

Hobbes: Script writer
Clocker: Civil Rights Lawyer
J2K4: CIA (retired)
J'Pol: Sports journalist
Fugley: Diplomat
Skweeky: International criminial mastermind (Pink Panther)
Lamsey: Student (who turns up for lectures)
Rat Face: Full time Geordie (not an easy job but someone has to do it)
Are you allowed to say which department Biggles, I am staggered that part of the Civil Service can employ one as eloquent as you. I'm guessing not the Inland Revenue, having seen some of their attempts at written communication. [/b][/quote]
I believe it is permissible for me to say MoD but I am not about to do a Claire. :)

Surprisingly, perhaps, literacy is still valued in many departments and internal communications are often a form of verbal ping pong; some of which are extremely funny (unfortunately, I am not really at liberty to repeat them here).

I am curious as to your daytime activity, given some of your previous remarks I fancied that you may work in the Procurator Fiscal line.

The "shadows" come free with the sewer.

Anyway, I only did that as a summer job back in '95-'97
