i'm not even sure if its the same thing since we are not idiots to pay.

now matter how you look at it klite is not legall, because of copyrights.

however from what i understand k-lite2.6 is legall because it does not contain the kazaa.exe

Kazaa Lite (and other variants) are illegal because it violates Sharman Networks Terms of Use Agreement.

However, P2P applications created that are created by their own authors are completly legal, unless copyright infridgement occurs.

K-lite 2.6 does not modify the source code or reverse engineer anything. It is an add-on for kazaa. It does nothing to the code, it merely modifies what's in memory. It's still in testing, and not made by the original developers of K++. B)

Edit: Heck, to be completely accurate, K-lite 2.6 is really only 1 program called khancer, the rest of the programs are just tools. Registery information is also (obviously  ) added.

K-lite v2.6 doesnt include copyrighted materials or modify kazaa's code, so should be legal!

K++ and KLR are legal, otherwise geocities would have removed them!

Khancer doesnt tuch any of kazaa's code so why would that be illegal?
