A topic only becomes 'hot' after a lot of people reply to it. All posts start of with blue envelopes. As for post level look on the forum, its been posted loads of times. But get to 100 to become a 'full member' but dont do it by spamming. Be constructive, dont just say 'I agree' for example.

btw, posts dont count in the off-topics or in the 'worlds'.

Only you can see the dot as this indicates that you started the topic

The dot means you posted i that particular thread.
Easier to keep track of threads you posted in that way.

The dot doesn't mean you started the thread, just that you posted in it.
You can see who started it by looking at the "topic starter" column.

I think your'e right, you should have the option to close your own topic when you feel its been resolved, otherwise your'e going to get more posts, which have either been aid or are just spam.

03-07-2003, 11:14 PM
don't think so, would put us almost jobless
You would be suprised how many topics would be closed and how many doubles you would get.
You start something have the answers you like (or not) then close the topic.
But someone else did really wanna ad something to it, so starts same topic again like topic #2 or topic #3....
You won't have that imo B)

What's this nonsense about if you start it you can stop it. I don't think so. Once you post it belongs to the forum.

Two ways to stop. No-one is interested, or a mod does the "closed" thing.

Anyway, it's not over till the fat lady sings. Over to you Martha.

See that's the problem. Just because you started it doesn't mean you can end it. Unless of course you were born a mod.

However you look at it. You were wrong, N£MO was right.

all i was trying to say that as i started this post i was ending in the sense that i no longer needed any more info as the ist 3-4 replys answered my intial question...all the rest have just reply's and counter replys to nothing much of use to do with the the original question.

and i was a mod, i grew up liking the music you cant beat a good piece of two tone...

Chill big guy, we know what a mod is. If you are intertested there is a long post about mods and rockers.

It's all just a lot of people having some fun. Otherwise it's just stupid. That's what this forum is all about. You just have to take it on the chin sometimes, particularly when you are new. If you can do that, then you will have good fun. If you can't then you desereve what you get.

Let it go, don't take yourself or anyone else too seriously and enjoy the forum.

PS I hate your sig.
