Dvd Ripping To A Small,i'm Using Quality Divx File

I'm using ImTOO DVD ripper and have ripped a couple of DVD's to AVI.
But the quality doesn't seem to be very good.

Any tips?
Maybe there are some better programs out there that you guys could recommend to get some quality DIVX files out of my ripping?

I don&#39;t do it on purpose mate.
It has happened once before.
Don&#39;t know why it happens.
