Counterstrike -steam Password Problem

hi all

I got a problem whit my cs steam account it's bin a while since I've played and I forgot my pw. This wouldn't have bin a a big problem if I given them my real e-mail address, but of course I didn't.
but I thought since I usual auto login (I've clicked the remember button) there should be some record in the registry. so my question is where and how do I find my pw.

Im pretty sure that the passwords held in an encrypted file by steam itself, not the registry. So in other words, your SOL unless you can remember it. :(

First i just went on my steam and it kept fucking up and this pop up came up saying i need a password or some shit , probley steam updated there servers again

Have you been on the steam web site they do post up news on any updates or even email them they may be able to help
or even go on there fourm sites, theres loads of ppl that could help u
