Anyone know a proxy type software which allows you to surf 100% anonymous. For example it stops people websites etc from knowing your IP Address!

Thanks

They all suck. Most proxies are transparent nowadays. You can find a few anonymous ones and use this (http://www.multiproxy.org/downloads.htm) to change em every other few seconds automatically <---- old program, and do not try and use the proxy list on their site because they are several years old. Make your own list, that way you know the proxies work.

There is also a program called anoymizer but it sucks too. Latency becomes a big issue and eventually you can not surf without disconnecting.

You want to be anonymous dude? Use a shell account :)

If he does not know what a shell account is, it's obvious he knows either very little or jack shit about *nix. Yes, he could learn, but it'll take time and patience... which I doubt many people here have. :)

Duh!! I only used puTTY b4
Telnet sux.
Anyways, yo! just use Ghost Surf (http://www.google.ca/search?q=GHOST+SURF&ie=ISO-8859-1&hl=en&btnG=Google+Search&meta=)
it uses PROXY Servers. If u dunno what are they, go Here (http://proxys4u.proboards24.com/index.cgi)and look for some descriptions. Proxies are comps that act as a mid deliverer, so you your real IP (theoritically) will not be should and when u download, your computer will not be known, but the Proxy server (comp.) will be shown as downloading that file. Makes alot of sense doesn't it
Use a Firewall, such as Sygate Personal Firewall. (F.R.E.E).

But it still requires a basic knowledge of Linux. Ah, goddamn it, I'm fighting without ammo... go ahead and laugh.
