For the best looking case, I would going to suggest the cooler master wavemaster, but you already have it up there.

Its a bit pricy, but if I had the money I would probably get it. Go to your nearest Comp USA and see their compaq gaming computer that uses it, very sharp.

Dont froget to get the one with the window btw, you need to show off the insides of it.

I'm rather partial to the Lian-Li PC-73 SL

The "silent solution" from the manufacturer with arguably the best build quality and attention to detail.
Plus...no window. :P

:) Thank you! :)

I used to have that red light inside the case but when i bought my Blue Neon i glued the red to the back of the case, so the wall gets red, it looks really nice, only problem was wiring all the stuff from outside to inside...

I never ripped holes in it...I nibbled them.

Had the case been better designed I wouldn't have had to, don't you think?
Afterall, it comes with seven fans right out of the box...if they were any good I shouldn't have had to touch it.

lol true. Are they 80mm fans? and did they blow much air?

And the ones on the window...do those suck or blow? cuz that makes no since to me..where do they get air from?

Made of aluminium, designed for LAN's so its feather light.....comes with 2 low-speed 120mm fans, big window. Not bad IMO.

I admit the clear plastic thing at the front looks a bit crap though.

Yes but the case is undeniably a large part of the overall weight, im pretty sure your crap ass case is still heavier than this one, when you have to transport a machine from place to place anything you can cut down on is a plus.

beleive me mine is about as light as a case can get, its teh stuff in the case that is heavy, hard drive and power supplys are probably the heaviest parts.

$250? Im guessing you already have the best parts made and wouldnt want to upgrade them with some of that money, because that is alot for a case. A Chieftec Dragon case is very nice for about $80, and from tigerdirect.com also comes with a free 500Watt Ultra PSU ( I have it and it is very nice)

Here (http://filesharingtalk.com/index.php?showtopic=103751&st=0) is my case. Mine is the first case. I think you would really like that case, as it is very easy to use, and sturdy. Then you could spend the other money on crazy lights and all sorts of stuff.

These (http://xoxide.com/lianli.html) Lian Li cases are very nice also. I think I like the top middle one the best, it looks really good.

These (http://xoxide.com/thermaltake.html) Thermaltake cases are also very nice. I think I like the Xaser III better then the Xaser V.

Here (http://xoxide.com/cowacas.html) is the coolermaster wave master. Went in Maximum PC's 2003 Dream Machine.

I like them all.

What makes them call the Lian Li cases Silent? What do they have in them that makes them silent?

Undoubtably, the hard drives and PSU are the heaviest things in the case but thats beside the point, theres nothing we can do about that.

Is your case made from aluminium? Does it have 9 drive bays? Does it weigh less than 8.8 pounds (the weight of the super lanboy)?

If so, please tell me what case and I'll order one now.

The Lian-li case that I posted is the "silent" model.
Not all of them are.

That case has extensive use of interior closed cell foam panelling, the doors are gasketed and other details insure that sound will not escape.
I can't help but wonder about the cooling capabilities...after all, if sound can't escape, then how does air get in?

i have no idea what the actualy weight is (if i had a weigher machine id check). but i have 4 drive bays, 2 floppy bays, and the hard drive bays go to the floor, there are 5 of them. and yes its made of aluminum. im not sure what the case is called but i bought it from factory direct (a canadian store).

i have no model numbers or anything but i guess i can explain how it looks?

its white and the front has a big blue button for the power (not too big, about 1 inch) and a 1\4 inch reset button (might be half im not good with measurements) and under thae two buttons are the lights, green on top for power, then red hdd led light under it. finally at eh bottom are 2 usb ports.
it has one back fan spot and 2 on the front at the bottom.

ill try to find a picture of it on the factorydirect website but im not sure if they have one.

edit: nope no picture on the website, the description is also very brief. someone canadian might want to check out these cases here (http://www.factorydirect.ca/cgi-bin/category_list.pl/ENCL) i like the scorpio one.
