always they r 8 to 9 ppl uploading in my edonkey the problem that most of the time the upload speed r 20 kb to 30 kb for each upload and i wanna let only three ppl upload at once because i only let edonkey work when am using the pc can i limit the ppl whos downloading from me to 3 ??

i believe u should limit ur bandwith dedicated to upload, not the number of people uploading from u (makes more sense). edonkey (assuming it works 4 this pretty much as emule) handles the number of uls depending on the bandwith u offer 4 upload. u can limit it somewhere...

It would be better to limit the number of people uploading from you so that they can get good download speeds.

i didnt know one could. and yet, i am not sure it is the best solution to his pb.
he seems to want to prevent emule from taking too much bandwith, disregarding the number of actual uploads.
