Password! Wtf?

Hey,

Last nigh i downloaded some snoop dog album from the supernova. When download was completed...i tried to extract the zip. file but it asked me for da the password..WTF?? dat's strange. Why its askin for password??

Well obisouly i didn't know the password so i just typed in some random letters. Though the zip file was extracted but there were no audio files. Extracted folder was empty. WTF??

Any suggestions why its askin for da password?

The person who compressed the file encrypted them with a pass phrase.

You will need to go to the Suprnova forum, as they have some topics with passwords about some of the files that are encrypted.

Not to sink your ship, but a lot of the files on nova are leeched from other sites. If you can&#39;t find the password, your outta luck. There are crackers, but they take forever (days, months, years) if you get lucky that is.

99 out of 100 times the password is included in the filename or IS the filename.

It&#39;s a way to get proper credit for a torrent for where it&#39;s due.

ps: i know dis have been discussed before but i can&#39;t find a good P2P to download music. I know Bittorrent is good for everything accept MUSIC...
