View Full Version : Doomiii.rar File Trouble!

I downloaded the doom iii.rar file from updat and i cant seem to get it to work. Has anyone downloaded this and figured out how to do it? If so please let me know. Or is this a corrupted file and if so is there a verified out there along with half life 2?

Er, Doom 3 hasn't even been released yet mate. o.O

If your mean the Alpha version that was leaked (3 levels, but not really working), then a lot of people have troubles with it. You generally need a minimum of 512MB ram just to load the thing, sometimes up to 768Mb depending on how much ram your O/S eats - a high end computer, and a good gfx card. No, that TNT2 probably won't cut it.

If your using an nvidia card, you'll probably have to downgrade your drivers to version 41.09 to get it to work too. :/

The alpha version'll be hideously out of date by now anyway. You're better off just waiting a little(!) while for the full release complete with bells n whistles (and compatibility with any modern video cards)

Run doom.exe

anyhow, b2 is SOOOOO much better anyway&#33; go for b2 and screw the rest. it was released this past feb.

If its a b2 why is it the same version number as the alpha wich is 0.02 ?

when is d3 comming out anyway. i mean its not like im going 2 be able 2 play it because of my comp specs. but its always nice 2 dream.

andone got any recent screenshots too?
