Not sure if this is for other parts of the world but. If you go on a bus with some kind of radio/phone/communication thingy, You might see signs on the bus that says No food, No smoking, and one specific one No radios Why is this?

So one day I brought a Walkman into the bus and I listened to AM frequency.
Something odd. You couldn't hear any radio signals, all you could hear was humming of the bus excellerating, changing gears, idling etc. Only it was different and it was on my radio...instead of some talk show. So what is this? Is it possible to listen to what people were saying on the radio thingy?

Visit the lounge often so you can read the next edition of "On the Bus" by Keikan.

Of course they do... especially the ones on the 185.

Was waiting on a 312 the other day and it drove right past me. I think they're playing games <_<

Yea it's funny as hell watching someone as the bus just ignores them and you're getting to your destination even quicker, but it really sucks when you're that person waiting for the bus and 50+ people have a big grin on their faces as it drives on by <_<

Well I remember a driver doing that to some guy who was at the bus stop. Only thing was the lights changed and he was stuck in traffic and this huge guy just ran in front of the bus and started kicking the bus. I think he broke a light, both mirrors, and scared the shit out of the driver.

Let this be a lesson to all those bus drivers on here... one of these days you're going to do it to the wrong person and you're gonna be screwed. It's your JOB to pick passengers up, not ignore them. This driver was lucky the guy never tried to board. He would have kicked the shit out of him.

the bus drivers look at me then drive straight past but it goes on a long detour so i can walk round the corner and people have to get off the bus. its really funny hearing the driver trying to make excuses for being a cunt  :smilie4: :01:

Do you think of the environmental consequences of your actions?
I live in a city, and therefore don't need to drive. ;)

Even the buses in the UK are weird, especially at night, they're full of drunks

FM radio works better than AM though.

Yea it's for the drivers to scream for help when they drive past a guy waiting and he gains access to the bus using the emergency door open to beat the driver up.

Travelling on the bus and train should be free. It should be a public service. It might reduse the amount of traffic on the roads. :)

@ Keikan! They maybe frightened that you are listening into the bus frequency. You might hear something you are not supposed to hear. They could be asking for assistance at the next stop to take that weirdo who is sitting at the back of the bus posting on KLF on their laptop.
