View Full Version : Can You Burn 703mb Into A 700mb Disk?
everytime I try to burn a 703mb file onto a 700mb disk it justs spits it out saying not enough room, if there anyway to do this? I have overburn on but it only works with vcd/svcd files and im using nero
I suppose then ill just compress the file and hope the compression takes 1mb off :P

not likely, well it never does with any of my kvcd's
why is there so much miss information about over burn I'm pretty sure that "warning" is a cya policy to prevent you from blaming the software

thats all done, I just compressed the entire movie into a rar file (its going to be a bitch to decompress from the cd-r) but better than not being able to burn it

I can burn a max of 718 mb on a regular 700 mb Cd-r.If I try to go any higher it will not fit, and I have never had a problem with any of the discs I have burned 718 mb to.

I have about 60 Avi files burned onto CD and most of them are roughly 718 mb.I usually won't download them if they are any bigger, that way I know I can fit them on a disc.
Which software are you using? use Nero 6 and all it says is that it can't fit on the disc without finalizing it ,do you want to do this etc. I say yes and all is well.
