This happened to me when I burned and try to install Max Payne 2. Try un-extracting the game again, and then burning it at 24x or lower using high quality CDs. Reboot and try installing the game again. Breakthrough is a crappy game anyways...

Try to mount the image with deamon tools if you still get the error you have a corrupted copy
