Website Help

i need to know what i need to make a basic website nothing fancy or special just want it kinda like a ad for a hotel and my contact info for my lower mainland area .ca i think, im very new to computers so my knowledge is lacking but im learning :) so i need to know what i need to make and how to design a site (for noobs) thanx tons guys for any help tons though id ask you guys before googsthanx again :D




BTW if your wonder why i need the help, my aunt reps finnesterra hotels, for the us she lives in mexico for every booking she makes she gets cash i know cause her checks get mailed to me then i mail it to her. she gets like $9000us check once or twice every month. She said i can do this to but i need to start up a site

A good WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor is Dreamweaver (http://www.macromedia.com), but you should start with FrontPage (http://www.microsoft.com). Just keep in mind that it sucks.

A good image editor for beginners is GIMP (http://www.gimp.org), try playing with that to make images.

good examples! but you might as well get fireworks from slackropedia too here (http://www.macromedia.com/downloads) there all in trials so have fun,

the good thing is they all feel the same so its not like to big a curve,

then again if you want basic (cus these are pro capable) try at tucows (http://tucows.com) or cnet (http://download.com) for some near free and free stuff

For you and what you want it for mate you'd be better of using a template,premade thing.

All you have to do is maybe arrange it abit then host it.

loads on emule mate,search for templates.. :)
