O'Neill has much more character, Macgyver is so wooden - but his mullet is nicer than O'Neill's grey mess

its a bit ironic that Macgyver hates guns and O'Neill shoots everyone on a regular basis

He leads SG1 on Stargate SG1.

Brilliant character, well written and acted. Good character depth as the programme has developed. Not 1 dimensional, 1 storyline like McGyver.

And he could batter him in a fight.

they made a honking, great, big spaceship out of metal - i never saw Mac do that

also he always hot-wired cars by sticking his knife in the keyhole, that&#39;s just terrible teaching kids something so technically inaccurate
