I've used it once in the last month. Got a fake file (music). Searched for School of Rock, left it for a minute, picked a file just under 5MB, 38 users. Fast download (55kB/sec or so), but a fake file in the end.

I still have it, but I never use it. I moved to WinMX for music. So many great 192 and 320 bitrate songs. I use BitTorrent for games, programs, and TV shows (The Simpsons, 24, and Alias). Kazaa network = viruses, fakes, RIAA

i used to heavily use kazaa and bittorrent, but there was a time when i could no longer keep staying connected in kazaa (most likely due to my slow former isp), and bittorrent seeds only stay up for a certain amount of time, so i tried e-mule, then overnet/edonkey. i&#39;ve found that the hard to find files were in the edonkey network, plus the technology naturaly promotes file sharing. :D

1. I still use it... mostly for music. I use BT to download full albums, but Kazaa is still the best for single songs. Nothing comes close to Kazaa for pr0n. :D It&#39;s good for old stuff in general.

2. I don&#39;t even get fakes anymore. I think PG is blocking them.

3. K++ is the only way to go.

4. Mostly because I&#39;m used to it. It&#39;s got the most tools and more stable than anything else I&#39;ve seen.

5. Don&#39;t care about greedy record labels. They make millions off the talent and hard work of the artists.

6. I&#39;d like to see partial download sharing and corruption handling for Kazaa, even though I know such things are an impossibility.
