JK, I think pirating a few games is okay, but you should definetly buy most. For deals on games, nothing beats eBay.

Always look for bargains.

I get games at Toy R US on Buy 2 Get 1 Free day. That's giving me $50 for every hundred.
I have so many that many are still shrunk wrapped...........from last year.

I still haven't opened Sly Cooper and The Thievous Racconus.

I bought Rogue Ops for $10 at Circuit City and got Splinter Cell free with Prince Of Persia for $40 (still haven't opened it though <_< )

I have never seen a good deal on almost anything at Amazon.

I think people are used to buying from them. They don't have cut-rate pricing games.

Circuit City stores are having a HUGE $4.99 sale on video games. This sale is bigger and better than the one at Best Buy a couple months age.

Below is a list of confirmed games scanning at $4.99. There's a ton more games on sale but not yet confirmed. NONE of the games are marked $4.99. Ask a CC employee to scan the game for you (despite what the price marked on the game is).

D..D..D..DAMN!!!!!

I haven't played any of my systems in awhile.

I'm going to hit CC tomorrow.

Just like I've been telling everyone.

Stop buying these games brand spanking new the day they come out.

Play the older games and the new ones will drop to "older" price when you are done with older games.

This sale does not start until Sunday, July 11th.

I confirmed this with one of the younger fellas I shoot ball with who had the list in his hand.

All the games will be in a bin. He only had one page on him but told me the list was about 4 pages worth.

Remember

Circuit City - Sunday, July 11th - Store opens at 11am

I work at Circuit City... this $5 clearance isn't even advertised till next Sunday. We won't even start prepping for this by fixing the tags etc untill next week. By next Sunday, all those games will have the price slashed and be in bins w/ $4.99 marked on the front. I guess the prices were downloaded a week early so all you people are lucky if you go in early with a list, but the prices shouldnt be updated for another week. Today at Circuit City there were an assload of people coming in w/ lists buying up these games.

its already in the computer, if you wait, you won't get shit

Ok I went back to CC.

I talked to the same guy I shoot ball with.

He told me when I came yesterday he was taking the 4.99 games off the shelves. :o

But.....

He asked what games I was looking for and I gave him my list. He went in the back got what he could find fo me.

I then asked to see his list. He had the games that were in stock checked off.

I told him which ones and he got more games for me (ones not on original list).

I bought 19 games and will check at 2 other CC stores that I go near. It's good being in a metropolitan area. :D

I just got 14 more games.

A friend of mine went to CC and I went to another.
We corresponded on the cell.

His mom bought about 35 games to be split between 2 grandchildren and between their birthdays and Christmas. :o

My friend told me that when went to Annapolis Mall in MD the CC employee looked at them crazy with all those games.

One employee remarked that on Saturday this one young boy came in and bought all the Viewtiful Joe's and Chaos Legions.

I'm still looking for those games.

Im just curios about y you guys would think that returning the game would give you regular price back.

Just sell them all on ebay and make a few hundred with hardly any work.

If I would've bought them from a shop on the highstreet if would've cost nearly $150.

I don't know how accurate these conversion sites are but they can't be that far off.

South Africa (here) is great for PC games, most console games go for the equivalent of 50-60 dollars (some are 30) but PC games never go above $25 or so, if you can find an SA shop that does international deliveries, you're in luck!

I think www.Take2.co.za might.

This is fucking shit!!!

Different CC's are doing different shit!!!

Example

CC in Marlow Heights, MD -

Took 4.99 games off the shelf. If you ask and they have it the back, you got it. They will put them all out on Sunday July 11.

CC in Waldorf, MD -

Has a 4.99 bin. Has maybe 10 titles of the master discount list. Conveniently there are no other titles on the shelf on the list.

CC in Annapolis, MD -

Has a 4.99 bin. Has maybe 10 titles of master discount list but.....if you look on the shelf, they have some off the master discount list and you get them at 4.99.

CC in Beltsville, MD -

Has a 4.99 bin. It only has old ass sports titles. The salesperson said the sale was on since July 4. When I found a game that already bought for 4.99 at the Waldorf store, it scanned for 39.99!!!

W....T.....F!!!

I scanned some more I found on the list (off the shelf) and they were 39.99,49.99,29.99....not 4.99. They got different shit going on.

The salesperson told me the real early birds were getting all the copies of popular games (like 10 Viewtiful Joe's)!!!!

Thanks again to muchpl2 ;)
bah. yeah. the sale didn't start till the 11th. the stores were supposed to pull the games off the shelves the previous weekend, change the prices, and then put them back on the shelf on the 11th. but the info leaked out early and pretty much sabotaged the sale for "regular" people.

the salespeople at my local CC said they were told not to sell the clearance items early, but they had so many customers coming in since july 3rd demanding $4.99 games that they just sold it instead of arguing with all these peeps.

all they had left were old sports games. i don't even wanna play 2004/2005 EA sports editions, much less the 2002 versions. congrats to Busyman though, sounds like you made out like a bandit. B) there were a few on the list i wouldn't have minded getting... but on second thought i can't really afford to buy games right now and woulda needed to dip into my savings account, anyway. good thing i have a dvd burner and access to cheap blanks.

What's funny is that I haven't opened most of the games I had before this sale. If you looked in my house you'd think it was Gamestop....without the used games. (still shrunk-wrapped)

I forgot to mention that Toys R Us has Buy 2 Get One Free for Xbox, GC, and PS2 games.

I just picked up 2 GTA:SAs (1 for a friend) and Mortal Kombat Deception. ;)

Sale ends at the end of the week.

Also Gamestop is giving an extra $10 for 3 games, $15 fo 4, and $20 for 5.

Time to let go of old shitty games (also old sport titles).

Ends at the end of the month.
