I really need to uninstall the service pack 1 from my windows XP, and whenever i try to do it under add/remove programs it just stays there! is there some way i can do it manually? also it wont boot up into safe mode, it always stops at windows/sytem32/drivers/mup.sys could this file be corrupted or somthing becos it doesnt go any further than that! pleaasse help me on this ppl! :( :( :(

Did you try system restore, I think it sets a restore point before install

You should not have tried to uninstall it.
It really has some ESSENTIAL security patches.
You may have to reinstall windows :(
