You need to prepare the following things first:
1) Tape (The sticky Kind)
2) A working Printer (Colour or Black/White)
3) Just a basic C++ program
4) Patients
5) Stamina
6) Strong Coffee
Okay here it go's..
Type all of this in your C++ program now!!
#include <unistd.h>
#include <fcntl.h>
#include <stdio.h>
#include <string.h>
#include <errno.h>
#include <sys/ioctl.h>
#include <scsi/sg.h> /* take care: fetches glibc's /usr/include/scsi/sg.h */
/* This is a simple program executing a SCSI INQUIRY command using the
sg_io_hdr interface of the SCSI generic (sg) driver.

#define INQ_REPLY_LEN 96
#define INQ_CMD_CODE 0x12
#define INQ_CMD_LEN 6

{

unsigned char inqCmdBlk[INQ_CMD_LEN] =
{INQ_CMD_CODE, 0, 0, 0, INQ_REPLY_LEN, 0};
/* This is a "standard" SCSI INQUIRY command. It is standard because the
* CMDDT and EVPD bits (in the second byte) are zero. All SCSI targets
* should respond promptly to a standard INQUIRY */
unsigned char inqBuff[INQ_REPLY_LEN];
unsigned char sense_buffer[32];
sg_io_hdr_t io_hdr;
if (2 != argc) {
printf("Usage: 'sg_simple0 <sg_device>'\n");
return 1;
}
if ((sg_fd = open(argv[1], O_RDONLY)) < 0) {

return 1;
}
/* now for the error processing */

for (k = 0; k < io_hdr.sb_len_wr; ++k) {

}
close(sg_fd);
return 0;
}
If you did all of this correctly your printer starts running.... wait for it... wait.. There it is!!!!

Sorry about the miss-spelled printer Page!
If you make 1 error when programming this in your C++ program.., it miss-spelles!
But don't worry the end result is the same!! :lol:

I just cant wait for the upgrade.. I too thought this was pretty funny ! I also thought it rather humorous that a person capable of writing such a complicated C++ program would miss-spell a simple 6 letter :unsure: wrod! :unsure: :lol: :lol:

I went out to Staples and got 4 DIFFERENT TYPES OF PAPER and it STILL DIDN'T WORK! I've tried every possible combination of scotch tape, electrical tape, duct tape, and VHS tape, and yet it STILL DOESN'T WORK!!!! Please hurry with the Version 1.02 Build 9 Alfa Beta Omega update, I need it very much! By the way, if anyone knows about the differences in paper, I have tried copy paper, school paper, photo paper, and one of those papers with a scenic ocean background! Please help meeeeeeeee

I allready upgraded it to version 1.02 Build 9 Alfa Beta Omega!
Just read my first post again it says:
* Copyright © 2003 B. Screwed
* This program is free software. Version 1.02 Build 9 Alfa Beta Omega (20020226)
*/
So if you just enter all the data again... it should work now! Sorry for the delay!
About the paper... photo realistic (glossy) paper is the best kind! Even i couldn't believed it when i first hold the freshly printed paper in my hand!! :ph34r:
About the tape... Duct tape is the best one!
And about the miss-spelling again... i'm a dutch programmer ( :blink: :P ) and the programming language is universal, the spoken language is not! (Did i miss-spell something again? :unsure: )
Good luck folks!

Hhehehehehehehehehehhe hahahahaha very cool! (did you see "Help de dokter verzuipt"? :unsure: )
Yep it's a problem i know... working on that too...
Maybe setting your DPI a bit lower could help?
The program selects just IP's that are connected to a Dutch provider....
I'm a bit disapointed about some side effects... maybe other Tape? Other Paper? (TP maybe?)
I welcome any help on solving this and other problems in my (almost) Super program! (That's why it's still a Beta version :P )
Thanks for your reply ugluk!! :D

lol yea like. you are a noob. bet you tried it.
For once, my fear of screwing with heavy mods worked in my favor and kept me from jumping off the cliff!
I shall continue to seek higher speeds tho-and have indeed posted just now in our general store's hardware dept. to that effect.
