OK I've been looking at this and I saw a sapphire radeon 9600pro 128 and 256. So i'm thinking would the 256 be even a little more faster than the 128 or just completely slower than 128?

Check the RAM specs. Some higher MB models use slower RAM.

In the future games to come, it would have to use the 256.
I have a video card that does have 128M works great ;) .

ya its good, dont buy the 256mb because by the time 256mb video ram is actually needed you will probably be buying a faster video card anyway, plus the higher sized ram is usually slower.

Having more memory on a graphics card mainly helps save resources(mobo memory).

Why waste your system memory processing video data?

But, having more memory on a graphics card will not necessarily create a performance increase. Especially if you have alot of system memory.

/my 2 cents
